Trunt Lake is a large lake nestled at the bottom of a hillside within Ven Forest, southeast of the town of Hartland. From the top of the hillside, a viewer can easily see across the lake, as well as the alternating patches of rocky bottom and green weed around the deeper holes at the bottom of the clear water.

Hartland is one of the largest towns within the nation of Westland as well as one of the closest to the boundary. Hartland is nestled in the Hartland Valley of the Hartland Woods and is the center of government in Westland.

The Hartland Woods is the general name for the wooded areas in the vicinity of Hartland in Westland.

Pendisan Reach is a region in the Midlands, west of the Kern River, that refused to join the Central Council of the Midlands during the war with Panis Rahl. Today Pendisan Reach is an independent region in the Midlands, who's controlled by their king.

Aydindril is a beautiful place. Many of the side streets are narrow with tightly packed buildings and tiny courtyards. The streets are always teeming with people, especially the market streets. Each of the larger lands of the Midlands has their own palace located in Aydindril, though each is nothing in comparison to the splendor of the Confessors' Palace

Brennidon is a small town, and is also the birth place of the 4th seeker. It's a really peaceful place, where people are very helpful.

The wilds spread all across the southern portion of the Midlands. It is an open grassland, named not after the land, but after the people who live in it. It consists mostly of unchanging, open, flat plains with tall grass.

The Rang'Shada Mountains is a vast spine of rock that run northeast across the "back" of the Midlands - from the northeast corner down the center of the Midlands, leveling off as it reaches the Wilds in the south.

The Garden of Life is an elaborate, cavernous garden in the center of the People's Palace of D'Hara. Leaded windows high overhead let in light for the lush plants. Around the outside of the room are flowers set in beds, with walkways winding through.

The Pillars of Creation is an extremely hot valley deep within the Old World.

Bandakar is a country that is located in the Old World near to the Pillars of Creation. The name Bandakar was originally thought to mean "The Enlightened" but the 4th seeker found the true meaning, "The Banished".
